Cullinan Diamond Mine Is Situated North Of Pretoria In The Gauteng Province Of South Africa.
Construction taking place at Onverwacht Primary School, a local beneficiary that forms part of Cullinan Diamond Mine’s SLP3 commitments.
Construction of an Admin Block, Library, Guard House and landscaping at Onverwacht Primary School in 2023. Phase 1 of the project was completed in 2017 and saw Petra Diamonds investing and contributing to the construction of four classrooms and a nutrition centre at the local Primary School.
In September 2017, Petra completed the construction and commissioning of a modern, fit-for-purpose processing Plant at the Cullinan Mine, with a throughput capacity of 6 Mtpa. This has replaced the previous plant at the Cullinan Mine, which was originally commissioned in 1947 and which had undergone numerous refurbishments over the years.
